These terms govern your use of Postail, an Outlook add-in operated by Tyler Gorman ("Postail," "we," "us"). By installing or using Postail, you agree to these terms.
Postail is an AI-assisted email add-in for Microsoft Outlook. It drafts replies, summarizes threads, adjusts tone, and detects bid deadlines using Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
Drafts, summaries, and extracted details produced by Postail are generated by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Postail never sends an email on your behalf — every reply is opened in Outlook's own compose window for your review before you choose to send it. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before sending or relying on it.
Postail offers an optional mailbox connection that lets it check your mail on a schedule and send you reminders about unanswered emails and approaching deadlines. This is off until you enable it and approve Microsoft's consent screen, and you can disconnect at any time from Postail's settings.

Access to Postail is provided under a license tied to your installation and registered to your email address. A license can only connect the mailbox it is registered to. Keep your license key private; anyone holding it can use your allowance. We may suspend or revoke a license for suspected abuse, non-payment (for paid tiers), or violation of these terms. Revoking a license immediately ends access, including any mailbox connection made with it, and the stored sign-in token is deleted on our next scheduled check (within 30 minutes). Disconnecting from within Postail deletes it immediately.
Postail applies per-license usage limits (a daily cap and a short-term burst cap) to keep the service available and costs predictable. Hitting a limit returns a temporary error rather than failing silently. Limits may change; if a cap interferes with normal work, contact us and we will look at raising it.
Postail is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Postail will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postail and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Postail, including damages resulting from AI-generated content sent or relied upon without adequate review.
You may stop using Postail at any time by removing the add-in. We may terminate or suspend access at our discretion, including for violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these terms as Postail changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
